Donating My Time for a Great Cause

Wow! I’ve been busy this summer! I promise I will be getting some new samples of what I’ve been doing in the High School Senior world soon! I wanted to update everyone on a great cause I’ve been working for this summer. I was approached by the local Humane Society to donate my time and talent to create some fun images for their yearly calender. I got the opportunity to work with 2 families in the Fairview, PA area that are sponsoring the calender.
Here’s a few from our sessions! Enjoy!

Home to Erie…. | Erie, PA | Jennifer Dworek Photography

I spent the last few days in Detroit on business and I couldn’t wait to get back home. I don’t know if it’s age or what but the more I am gone the more I just want to be back home! Erie, PA has given us a wonderful place to call home. For those of you that know me you are probably laughing right now.  Cause you know how much I complain about the cold weather and the snow. I remember a time when I thought that moving south was the answer, that was until I spent some time on business trips in the dead of summer in the south! Wow! It get’s unbearably HOT! At least in the winter in Erie you can wear coats and hats or curl up by the fire.  I think I am actually ready for the winter season. It is a reminder of the holidays for family gatherings yet to come! Can’t wait to start playing the Christmas music! I was at the thrift store today and picked up some classic Christmas vinyl: Barbara Streisand’s Christmas Album! Yippie Skippy!

A Little Bit of Sara’s to End the Summer!

If you don’t know what Sara’s is then you obviously have never been to the peninsula in Erie, PA.  Sara’s has been around for the last 30 years serving up Smith’s hot dogs, homemade onion rings and orange sherbet/vanilla twist cones! Not only does Sara’s have great food but the atmosphere makes for a great photo shoot. This is where I come in!

My sister and I headed down to Sara’s yesterday with an idea in mind….great some great shots! Yes, we could have went with the 50′s theme but instead we decided to do some Harley Girl shots and Retro Chic Lady! The weather was perfect! Just a little overcast and sun peaking through every once in awhile. I brought some addtional lighting to enhance the overall feel of the photographs. I have been working with off camera lighting for some time now.  I love the feel it has and I am always looking to practice and perfect things.

So I hope you enjoy these as much we do!

Time For Baseball!

I’m really pretty excited about Little League this year! Why? Well my little one is playing for the first time this year! I took some pictures the other day at practice and I couldn’t help but be filled with happiness! Just watching these kids have fun will do wonders for your soul! I hope you enjoy these!

Finally She Got Her Day In The Spotlight!

We had a very Special Guest in the studio today. She’s been asking me for like 6 months or more if she could come in for a shoot. So today I agreed to let her come in and get some pictures done.  Who is this “Special” guest. Well, it’s none other than my dear sister! She has a busy schedule and I do too so we were finally able to find a few hours to squeeze her in. The shoot was really fun! It’s hard to be a model but I think she did a pretty darn good job! What do you think?

Time For Another Senior Picture Myth Buster!

What an exciting time in your life! It’s a time of adventure, truth, mystery and fun! If only I knew back then what I know now! You will never be in this place in your life again! Your Senior year is the last chapter in a very long book of experiences that is about to end. Let the new novel begin! We want to capture this time for you .  Let it SHINE! Let it SHINE! Let it SHINE!

Welcome to My New World

Gosh….It’s been a whirlwind journey for me! I can’t believe two years have flown by so fast. I want to thank all of you who had been following me on blogspot over the last year. I originally started my first blog as an outlet for my passion of photography. Now that passion has developed into so much more.  So, I’m here now to stay for quite some time. If you didn’t get the opportunity to follow me before let me fill ya in on an equation.

I love making photographs +  People love my photographs = Jennifer Dworek Photography open for business!

Over the past several months I have been on a rather spiritual journey in self discovery. Some of what I have learned I will be sharing with you as I continue to grow and develop. I find blogging is very therapeutic so on my journey of deciding how to showcase my talent I decided what bettter way is there than to have a Blogsite!  This is my new home. My new world. I want to take this opportunity to welcome all of you here.

My plan is simple. Meet people who love what I love. Show them that they are special. Take their pictures. Share it with you!

Thanks again to everyone who has contributed thus far  in my journey! I really would not be here without their support. A very special thanks goes out to my mother.  Thanks for seeing the potential in me to become a photographer. Thanks for not doubting me. Thanks for believing!

Now let’s make some photographs already!
