I hear it every time I see one of my Class of 2016 seniors:  "it went SO FAST!".  Senior year is almost done, application deadlines are looming, and the fight agains senioritis is so real. With all the stress, it can be hard to remember to make time for friends.  Creating those famous high school memories barely seems like a priority, but allowing seniors time to let loose and have some fun before being catapulted into the real world is so important.  Let them get (a little bit) crazy!

To celebrate reaching 1,000 followers on Instagram, I held a photoshoot for a lucky Erie girl and two of her best friends.  KayLeigh, a McDowell Senior, was the winner, and brought along her friends Tayne and Allison.

First, we kept things classy but fun, giving the girls formal makeup to match their formal dresses, but keeping the hair casual.  I didn't know it then, but the next part of our shoot would be a stark contrast to our formal studio portraits!

For the second half of the shoot, the girls changed into casual clothes, and we went to take over Bello's Market, just down the road.  We tried our best to stay out of the way, but a photographer, assistant, three girls, and a shopping cart take up a lot of space!  At least we gave the shoppers a great story to tell!

This is why I love what I do, and how I structure my senior sessions.  We love to capture all aspects of a senior's personality, from the Blair Waldorf-classiness of a formal dress to the Tumblr-worthy candid shots in the middle of a produce department.  We do the unexpected, the original, the creative.  We give our seniors an experience they deserve after all of their hard work and stress.  Because of the custom nature of our sessions, I only photograph 20 seniors per summer.  Call or email us now to reserve your date for Class of 2017 Senior Pictures!
